My beloved E320CDI Estate (Combi,touring,stationwagion) has moved from England to Sweden permanently.

My problem is that I need to change the Headlamp focus because of driving on the right side as opposed to the left in England. By law I am required to change the focus.

so:

1) Are xenon headlamps non-adjustable?
2) Can I replace a simple component or do I have to replace the whole (expensive) unit?
3) Is there anything I can do, or should I visit a garage?
4) Can I replace the Xenon headlamps with normal (cheaper) ones?

You need the entire headlamp assemblies, but it is likely that you can reuse your bulbs and ballasts. I would look at a junkyard (wrecker).

You can get a good used set on eBay.de. If you speak German you can also post a request on some of the Mercedes forums.
