I wanted to fix the dashboard side vents because both side sliders were stuck and also because the right side vent duct is disconnected. Literally, the right side duct is hanging down there doing nothing but air out the interior of the dashboard.

I need to reconnect the duct and vent outlet together, but I cannot do that while inserting the vent outlet. I need a hand behind the duct and push it against the outlet.
Any ideas for the easiest way to reach the duct without removing too many panels/parts? And if so, which one the airbag or bottom carpeted panel is better?

Thanks for any insight.

Well, I guess I am going to answer my own post. LOL But it might help someone else down the road.
I really wanted to do this without unscrewing stuff, and I managed. I made a small hole with a soldering iron, which will not affect the airflow, and pulled the duct with a coat hanger against the vent outlet. End of story. I also glued it with some weather strip glue to make sure it will not drop again over time.
