Yes. I have asked the same question, but I am not sure it was designed that way. My SL600 measures 27 inches (from the ground to the center fender) in the back; and 28 inches in the front.

Any one with a SL600, please comment?

All SL's after 1993/1994 or so started leaving the factory this way, regardless of what suspension setup they had. MB jacked the front ride height up after people complained the front spoilers couldn't clear a standard parking stop. Compare a 1990 or 1991 to a 1995 and you'll see what I'm talking about.

Fwiw on the 600s if you don't like it you can just adjust it back to original specs, I did it to mine. Takes 2 minutes with an SDS it's just a computer setting. Not sure if this works for ADS I you might have to adjust the mechanical height valve but it's still easy.

Not sure how they changed the standard suspension, I suspect they increased the size of the shims to raise the front height.

ADS, just adjust the length of the rods to the height control valve, one located in the front, passenger side and one in the rear passenger side.

Set any height you wish, just measure the rods before so you can go back...
