My MAF went on my car the other day, just kept firing up and stopping.
Anyway while I had it on my friends diagnostics I found a menu I'd not seen before, the fuel mixture is set to base setting but there are other settings.
There is "lean out", "richer" and "slightly enrichen"
Just got me thinking that it might be worth a try to go for the slightly richer setting (I can always put it back again), maybe not much difference than getting a remap?
What do you think?

Doesn't make any sense at all - if you want to experiment for your own reasons, on a MAF with mileage that is out-of-spec, then add the "mapped" deviation on top of that ... feel free.
