heyy guys hope all is well. i have a 78 mercedes 350 se which is in great shape.

i drove the car all day without any issues whatsoever. i was just about to go to run some errands..i started the car and immediately the car revs out of control!!!! i quickly shut it off thinking maybe a stuck pedal..pressed it couple of times but it wasnt stuck..tried starting a few times..same issue the car revs out of control immediately.:eek:

what could it be and how could i go about fixing it??!!!

If you're absolutely sure it's not the throttle linkage, it's either a vacuum leak or the auxiliary air valve is stuck.
