I have 2006 ML350 that I would like to retrofit Bluetooth adapter, does it require new center console with cables ?
Does the aux input cable plugs into cd changer port or both can co exist?
I would like to install sirus/ xm radio. I purchased used module and I see tons of different cables under seat. Is there sure way to tell if my car was prewired for xm .

I added the Bluetooth cellular kit when I had my e class. All of the boxes needed to go in the trunk but on the ML it's under the rear seat. You need to post your VIN here so one of the forum members here can verify if your car is prewired which most up to 09 should be. Keith Valentine is a good source for these parts as they are drying up. On the Sirius XM mid city engineering sells a kit that includes everything to need to the tune of 1200.00.

Keith is a forum member but you can google Keith valentine cellular for his contact info.

You Will actually need two kits for the Bluetooth retrofit. One is the install kit which has all of the parts to change out in the console. The other has the wiring and boxes that install under the rear seat. The Bluetooth dongle is sold seperately. You should be able to find all of it on eBay if Keith doesn't have anything left.

it looks like I have motorola module installed under seat SO I just need cables to console and plug and bluetooth module? I saw central console with cable and port for $139. To retrofit sirius radio is it black module? I see fiber optic cable and bunch of cables and one antena wire. No plug that looks like it fits sirius module. Any howtos on installing Bluetooth ?

There should be instructions in the WIS for both. If you just need the puck and wiring it's not bad at all. I believe MB offered a kit to add Sirius xm as well if you have everything except the box you may be able to find one used.

Wow - Keith Valentine is still around! I had him install phones, yes that long ago, in two of my BMW's during the late 80's when living in So. CA.
