Was flipping channels this evening and came across a neat program on BNN (our Business News channel).

It was called Legendary Motor Car (LMC) and it seems they syndicate the programs on various networks. They also have a website.

Anyway, it was neat to see how the 300SL was built. Very light weight but strong spaceframe. Worth watching if show comes your way.

Saw the same program tonight. Interesting.

My neighbour who is a car buff says LMC's store in Milton ON is well worth a visit.
I worked directly next door for 7 years and never made it inside.

I kept meaning to go over..... there was always a parade of Hot Rods up and down 5th line.

I watched that episode last night.
The restoration of that 1957 300SL Gullwing was fascinating.

The owner of the Gullwing was the BASF Corporation. I remember
them for their BASF Cassette tapes but not much else. What
is BASF doing these days?

Like you I highly recommend watching.

BASF is the largest chemical company in the world. Like Dupont, who we may be more familiar with, they make hi-tech automotive and other coatings as well as all other sorts of chemical and other products.

Tonight, I switched to the US business channel CNBC just to see what they were saying. But being a quiet day on US markets, they were running other things.

What was on, was a program called Car Chasers! It was actually quite fun.

This Texas couple heads to LA in search of unique cars that perhaps they can make a few $$ by reselling. One is an MGTD. The others a Ford and another great big convertible - forget what it was. This is the episode but it doesn't seem to work for me.

The Car Chasers

Looks like it is a regular CNBC show on Tuesdays at 10pm.
