Hi All,

My car comes with the "wood" gear knob. Overtime, the top part of the knob faded. I am looking on how to restore it to almost an original condition.

Any idea please?

I believe there is a clearcoat top layer that you can try polishing the same way you would polish car paint or glass. It would probably be much easier to do this if you remove the knob which isn't to difficult once you lift the console up.

If the polishing doesn't work then you will have to look into restoring it or buying a new one.
