Resale of ordered car? CLK55 Cabriolet

Theoretically speaking...if one had a highly desirable car such as a CLK55 Cab on order (yes, I know they haven't officially starting taking orders but I'm on the list at the dealer) and the car came in and I didn't want it (keeping my E55 instead) can I sell my space to someone else?<p>I've seen this on E-bay lots of times, places in line being sold for 5 or 10 grand for BMW's. Do the MB dealers let you do this? How does it work?<p>Theoretically speaking of course!
