Happy New Year Everyone!

The self leveling feature on my 300TD I was told wasnt "switched on" cause it was broken and was advised to just replace the shock absorbers with ordinary ones. I was advised that the ride wouldnt be the same if I did...I know it costs a lot to have the function operational and beginning to think of doing it. Any thoughts suggestions? Or, any tips on how to get it fixed at minimal cost? Where do I look first and how do I know which parts to replace?...Thanks a lot!

Goto mercedes shop .com and do a search on "SLS" and you ought find all you need to change your supension if that's what you want to do. You cannot just install regular shocks. There is no "switch" for turning the SLS on and off.
