I own a 1996 C220. I need to replace one of the light-bulbs that illuminate the instrument cluster..heck, if I can get to it, I'll premptively replace all 4!! I took it to the dealer and it just doesn't seem right to shell out 200 bucks to change a 10c bulb. If anyone's done this, and would like to share the experience, I'd greatly appreciate it!

The problem about those bulbs is all the stuff you have to take apart. The steering wheel needes removed, pretty much the whole dash needs taken apart, all that to change a little bulb. If you decided to do it... it'd be wise to change all 4, so you have fresh bulbs in there. I have at least one bulb out there, I'm not going to bother with it, my tach is a little dim at night... oh well. I won't worry until another one goes out. Then I will change them myself.

Thanks Nate,<br> Sounds like too much work! Like you, I'll let it ride till another one goes out. That'll make the effort worthwhile.
