Replacing front axle to 2005 G500

I wanted to know if some knew or had experience replacing a front axle assembly to a G500. The only part I can find is an axle assembly from a 2006 G55. Does anyone know if it will fit into a 2005 G500? Your help is greatly appreciate. Thanks!

Why do you want or need to replace the entire axle assembly. Is it bent?
