Hello BenzWorld - just registered to the site along with purchasing my 1999 SLK 230! 
I am currently in the process of replacing the existing BOSE setup. When I purchased the car, the passenger door speaker was missing (just the bottom speaker, the tweeter is still present). I am having some difficultly even talking with the local dealership to locate this piece. The driver's side had this factory bracket and made my new Infinity Reference 6030cs a piece of cake to install.
However, this black surrounding bracket doesn't exist on the passenger side (hence the no speaker). It has like 3 gold bolts and a few existing black screws as well. The picture is the completed setup on the driver's side.
Where can I buy such a bracket and/or find the part # for that given piece?!
