Hi, I own a 2000 CLK320 and the motor that controls forward and backwards
motor needs replacement, I checked the fuses in the front fuse box and trunk
fuse box and they are OK. The problem I have is the seat is stuck all the way
forward and I can't get to the front bolts. The rear ones I can remove ok.
Is there any way I can replace the motor without taking out the seat or is
there anyway I can move the seat backwards manually. I would really appreciate any advise or help with this project. Thanks

hi are you sure its the motor on the seat as the switch gets dust in it
and plays up give it a tap a few times and flick it back and ford
may help or may not

Hi Martin, Thanks for your advice. My switch is working ok as it responds to
all functions except front and back. Only alternative is to change the motor
(middle one) and hope this will fix the issue. Will keep you posted as soon as the motor gets here. Regards
