Hello to everyone!

I am a total newbe to BenzWorld and am excited about learning and sharing knowledge about W124s

I've got a 1991 300E with 200K on it. Just had the body painted and it looks and runs great. The front door seals are cracked, gouged, and broken off in a couple of places. I've ordered the parts onlone and they are on the way.

Does anyone have experience replacing these? Any tips or tricks to make the job easier? Any help would be appreciated.

It's an easy job. The only disassembly is to drive out the door check strap pin so you can get the old seal out and the new seal in at the door jamb. Note the spacer washer location before you remove the pin and don't lose it.
After that it's just a matter of persuading the old seal out of the channel. There are no clips; there is no glue. It's an elegant setup (as usual on the 124).
