I have both front coil springs with a broken coil about 1 full turn from where it mates with the lower control arm.

Searching for springs for purchase, not finding much.

Saw the Eibach Pro-Kit Lowering Sptringset for $287 at Autoparts Warehouse. I wasn't planning on lowering the car, but I might be interested.

1) Anyone used these Eibachs? What do you think?
2) If I just go with OEM style, where to purchase? Price?

I usually use AutohausAZ or PartsGeek, but they don't carry springs.

If I go with the lowering springs, does it screw up camber / caster, overall alignment?

If you lower it, you have to have it realigned (sometimes you need new camber bolts as well). But it would be a good idea to have alignment checked if you are just replacing springs.

car-part.com is a database for salvage yards, springs shouldn't be too much there and if you find one not too far away, you don't have to pay shipping.

You could also check the price of them new through parts.com, though shipping will likely eat up any savings.

Good luck.
