[PCS430]

The plastic skirt around the base of my drivers seat is cracking around the seat belt base opening. Any suggestions where I can find a relacement part for it?

I just got a 2001 S430 and bottom is cracked also...i need replacement too.

My cracked and broke, I used plastic epoxy to mend, its still holding up. The plastics in these early W220s arent so great

mine cracked a small piece out, I used a dremel to smooth and round the edges, now it looks like its meant to be like that

main problem is the base cushion is so soft particuraly over time that the edges rest on the plastic, alsway remember if cleaning the car never kneel on the edge of the cushion.......or...crack!

The plastics are cheap. I discovered yesterday that finding a used part is going to be nearly impossible so I called the closest dealer. The replacement parts wll cost $80 including shipping to my door. Mine is too far gone to epoxy.

mine cracked twice ! Once during warranty. I am only 160LB!
poor material use for W220!

When I had my w220 I searched and searched for a used one, finally broke down and went to the stealership.

$80 doesnt seem to bad. I'm going to order mine also. I'm thinking of maybe adding a layer of epoxy to the backside to strengthen them up a bit more.

just ordered my 2nd one today...they cost $44 here at the dealership and very cheaply made for a w220
