pop cover @ rear drivers side of motor...IIRC< it's a 5mm hex that holds it in..recm'd shooting w/ PB Blaster/ScrewLoose NO WD40 before hand..

Remove bolt, unplug from EZL, undo wire from clips.

install opposite of removal..;-)

watch out though, those CPS's can get corroded into their housing..if it won't come out you'll be pulling the transmission!!!!!

For what its worth, one summer I completely stripped a rusty IRS and got to try out all sorts of different penetrating fluids. WD40 was surprisingly better than most.

Machinists Monthly has ranked WD40 in last place for years and years..:p

Ultimate pen oil, acetone and atf, mixed 50/50. Requires a metal container you can pressurize as plastic simply won't hold up...but my oh my... I use Nothing but now.

Prior to that PB Blaster was my pen oil of choice for Years.

nex fav method of bolt extraction is heat (mapp/Oxy, acetylene) followed by freeze off...heat/cool..repeat 3-4 times. Cool the last time w/ acetone and atf... heat and be amazed @ what horribly rusted bolt actually comes out!
