is it possible to replace the 4 cyl engine with a C43 V8 ?
& still keep the supercharger? thanks!

I'd say no, it isn't possible to use the supercharger from your car on an M113 V8. I'm sure you could get a supercharger for that particular motor - check out a company called "kleeman" out of Denmark, I think - they did supercharger kits for a whole bunch of different MBs. Be prepared to have it cost way more than its worth, though - between buying the C43 engine, computer, and probably the differential too - then changing the front suspension to deal with the weight difference from a 4 cylinder to a V8 - then upgrading the brakes to handle the power.

I know that nobody wants to hear this because we all get attached to our particular car but your best bet would be to start over again with a C43 and build it up - maybe even transplant the bigger V8 from the E55 or CLK55 - it is still an M113 so it bolts right in.
