I scraped a curb very slightly yesterday but enough to throw a couple of scrapes on my AMG sport rim. RobD posted earlier that he had good success repairing curb rash with fine sandpaper and rubbing compound. Are there any instructions out there for how to use these products for optimal results? Or are there other ideas for how to repair curb rash? I did a search on several of the forums here and couldn't find anything.

Hello,

If the curb rash has not touched the metal, you maybe able to sand it and rub it out with compound, but you will probably rub or sand through the clear coat.

I found this page on an Audi forum:

Maybe this will help.
