i have a 2002 c32 amg benz. My belt got torn up because of my guide pulley. I am replacing my guide pulley but the nose that the pulley sits on is torn. That nose is part of the timing case over. How can i repair this nose? I am purchasing a spacer or gasket that sits on that nose and covers up the bolt that holds the pulley. I got an estimate today that if i have to replace my timing face cover it will cost me $650 for the part and $2,200 for labor. Please give me some ideas on how i can fix this. See image below.
