Looking for feedback on an AMG performance tune/chip. I am familiar with Renntech, Eurocharged and Kleeman. Renntech seems to be the common pick, but seems that Eurocharged is the best bang for the buck - too good to be true?
Anyone with specific experience on performance chip comparison. Mainly looking for a little more HP without causing performance issues or up-fit requirements.
Leaning towards Eurocharged, but have reservations without personal recommendations.

Thanks for feedback.

So no one has any knowledge of performance chip/tunes?
I have fitted Varidian tune to our C43 and ML500 with great success. Have modified the exhaust on the ML slightly but left the C43 exhaust stock.
The Varidian tune is Race Tech re branded which is a euro company.
On the ML I also fitted their throttle box which makes a massive difference to the response and you can have 7 different settings.
It is a great improvement to performance without removing ECU’s and any major mods. Takes a couple hours to fit them but relatively easy.
It is reversible if you want to change it back to stock. Cost was about $1500 each.

Thanks for the response! Can’t say I have heard of Varidian. I will look into it further. Sounds like it is a cheaper option, but leaves OEM specs in place. I want more power, but not if it leads to potential damage to the car. Why have power if you can’t safely use it.

This tune keeps it within the maximum parameters of the engine.
I’ve had it on mine for almost 3 years now and I’m still more than happy with the power. I don’t drive the wife’s C43 much but when I do it’s an animal.

So I pulled the trigger on the Eurocharged Stage1 plug and play for my GLC43. Went from 362HP to 480HP (give or take - had to dial it down to 91 Octane to be safe). Damn near wrecked the thing hitting the gas the first time out. It added a lot of get up and go and seems to have smoothed out some of the drag in city traffic. Was quite a bit cheaper than the Renntech or Kleeman offerings and provide for nearly double the HP increase.

Have been running this for the past couple months now. Have not had any negative impact from the performance increase, but time will tell. So far, I am very happy with my investment.

That is correct. 480HP is based on a 93 octane tune, but i had to dial down to 91. You also lose some power dispersion with AWD 4matic, but it is definitely a considerable increase without making any other changes.

You can get more aggressive with a stage 2, but that requires some additional upgrades.

i just wanted a boost in performance and i am happy with the results.
