Does anyone have any experience with having warranty work done on an E55 after RennTech modification? Do RennTech mods void the factory powertrain warranty? What if anything can you do to this engine without voiding the warranty?

I believe that only the modified parts are voided in which case Renntech will take over that part. ie, if you mod your engine you'll still get warranty on the rest of your car.

Norb is correct. There is also one more thing to consider if MBUSA voids a portion of your warranty. Your car gets red-flagged. Once that happens, MBUSA has to approve any and all warranty work, even if it's not directly engine related, like suspension. So this equates into extra shop time. This is all too familiar for me.

Anyone know of a good shop in Austin/Houston area who can do a RennTech pulley/ECU installation on a 2003 E55? Cost parts and labor? [?]
Check the RENNtech web site for locations. MB of Sugarland is a dealer and there should be one in Houston.
