folks,

I have C-CLass remus exhaust that I have used for 3 years on a c240. I needed to bring the c240 back so I took the remus exhaust off of it. I felt that the car had more performance WITHOUT the remus...is that possible ? I was told that the remus has more flow, probably making the engine perform worst, as an atmospheric engine needs MORE restriction....can anyone shed light on this subject ? I now hesitate to put the remus on the c320. I will miss the sound, but I cannot compromise performance....

That's odd, the remus on my 190E & E280 gave me about 2bhp on the dyno. Maybe yours was fit in such a way that it was restricting flow (maybe).

i haven't felt loss of power with remus...

Lowering the restriction of the exhaust can add a little to end horsepower at the expense of mid range torque.
