I used a hair blow dryer on our 2003 Chevy Silverado truck last year to peel off both the driver & pass stickers with good results. There was a very slight variation in color probably from the sticker keeping the fabric behind it cleaner than the surrounding area (pic below) for the previous 9 years. The Chevy's base material was a little different though, a knappy type of fabric, not a smoother type vinyl as on the ML. I have attempted the same blow dryer treatment on the ML, but I could not get the corner started as I did with the Chevy's to peel them off. It feels as though the ML safety stickers are etched into the vinyl or are part of the vinyl ? I was thinking of taking the visors off and rewrapping them in the same color vinyl and then reinstalling them. I would not advise doing a chemical (goof off, etc) peel unless you are prepared to rewrap them .02 T
