Heat gun.
I would have mentioned earlier, heat gun, but there are defrost wires in place.
very Mindful use of a heat gun, in this area, otherwise....

don't ask me how I know.
repair of the heating wire, is doable though, but you really don't want to go there.

Thanks guys. I got the sticker off. Heat gun and plastic scraper did the whiter uncooked part of the sticker. The black cooked part was kind of welded on. I used a razor blade to work it off avoiding the lines of the defroster grid. Remaining adhesive came off with goof off or goo gone or whatever is the sticky yellow liquid stuff.

Good job. For the next guy, Naphta spirits will dissolve glue residue and not harm substrate. Defrost elements should be fine. I use this stuff to clean up collectables. It is safe on wood veneer, clean plastic, and a lot more.
