I just installed a Platinum Bird's Eye Maple dash trim kit (purchased from Direct Sales & Design), and it looks great, excepting one small piece that is a bit lopsided. Anyway to get the piece off without ruining the piece? Thanks

If it is held on by tape heat it with a blow dryer and pull dental floss across the back to cut it loose.

You will have to get new tape for it unless you get lucky and it pops off when you heat it up.
