My alternator is blown. Is there a way to change it without removing the radiator?

Thanks in advance.

Are you certain that the alternator has failed? More often than not, it is the voltage regulator that goes.. It is located on the back of the alternator and held in place with two phillips screws. About a $40 part at NAPA or less if you order online. About a twenty minute job to change out.

You shouldn't have to remove your radiator to replace the alternator.

Good Luck,

I have no doubt the alternator is bad. I've already change the voltage regulator.

I've been looking for a write up on how to change the alternator but I haven't found one.
