Good day all,

Need help with removal of my windshield sprays from hood, I'm a proud owner of a 1996 S500 2dr Coupe. Replacing the hood and not sure how to remove spray devices for windshield. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks a bunch,

You will notice two plastic retainers, if you get a little hook you can pull them out, the pins on the nozzles will be able to be collapsed and the assembly will come out of the hood. There is a hose and a wire attached, water and heat.

Peter, was able to pull the nozzles loose and retrieve the entire hose from the hood.

Thanks very much,

Great, I had clogged nozzles, and it took time to figure out how they were in there. I finally pushed the pins thru and was able to retrieve them. I would clean them as long as they are out. You can adjust them using a needle or a map pin, I like the map pin.
I cant belive MB has a tool to remove the plastic retainers.
