Any Tips or Tricks for getting the S/C pulley reinstalled. It is a bitch to line it up perfectly. Slid right off when I removed it. Git it back on once and after numerous tries it slid right on. I am adjusting the gap so had to remove agian to try the gap with another shim removed and I can't get the damn thing to slide back on? When I get it back on earlier, it just almost accidentally went right back on.

I know that freezing the bearing and heating the pulley is common when replacing the bearing, but heating the pulley with the bearing as one unit does not sound like a good idea. Since my garage is fairly cold at the moment, I am going to try just warming the pulley assembly over a heat vent (warm air) in the house, this may be just enough for it to slip on.

So, I heated the inside of the pulley (bearing) with a hair dryer and used ice in a plastic bag on the supercharger shaft......pulley slipped right on! Thanks for the heat idea, got me thinking in the right direction! :)
