Well I finished repainting my gauge needles, came out awesome BTW. Great writeup in the DIY section, dirt cheap as well.

Anyway, I put everything back in. Thing is, I can't seem to push the gauge cluster on top all the way back in under the top front of the dash. If I push any harder I'm certain I will break something (problem I tend to have often).

Any hints on how to get that top of the gauge cluster installed all the back to where it is supposed to be?

Thanks

Make sure the rubber gasket that seals it in place is flush with the cluster housing. Otherwise it will roll/bind on the dashboard, preventing it from slipping in.

It really is that simple - make sure teh gasket/seal is okay and push it in...
