If I can get to 8 I'll go ahead and order, but the ones I get stuck with I'll be marking up. I can probably sell them on e-bay.

I'm in the market for a W126, and I like this idea of a beefier sway bar, but given that I don't even know what I'm going to buy, it seems premature to order a part which might not fit. So I can't order one.

That said, is there any way to coordinate with one of the moderators to send an email to W126 owners who are signed up to the site? At this point, only people who are here fairly regularly and who are paying attention even know that you're doing this. I'd guess that if folks knew about this that you could probably sell at lot more than ten of them.

Cheers,

There isn't really a way to email all members. What I'll do for now is make it a temporary sticky. We're over the amount of stickies we should have already but just while this is active it'll be OK.

Awesome endeavour again by John. Forum multi buys are well known for never working, apart from this one which has been amazing really.

@ianrandom -- maybe you could change the title of the thread to something like "Chance to Buy W126 Performance Rear Sway Bar" or "Member Arranging Group Buy of W126 Performance Rear Sway Bar," or "Signup to Buy W126 Performance Rear Sway Bar." At this point, even the title doesn't necessarily suggest that this thread is anything more than a discussion of what someone has already bought, or if it's even OEM equipment. Just a thought.

Cheers,

Kim G

I’m chiming in so I can stay up to date. I’d love this. But I have to get my car running. I stopped by last night and had atf all over the warehouse floor. Hopefully the atf fill tube came loose. But I fix that now, too 🤦‍♂️

Heard back from the vendor today. Costs are going up and lead times are moving out. Hopefully, I will have a price early next week.
