A few months back I stumbled across a thread or website that had some pictures of a 107 (later model, 500/560SL, red IIRC) that had been stored for a long time. I think it may have had delivery miles only or very very low miles.

does anyone know what i'm talking about and can they post the link if they do? it would be an invaluable reference when working on my car to ensure i'm restoring to OEM.

I'm about to embark on some engine detailing/restoration and would like a reference as to how mine should look. I have new decals and I don't want to get these in the wrong place either - any help appreciated.

I'd also like to know what colour the needles of the instrument cluster were when new. I figured orange based on more contemporary models but is this the case for a 1979? again, any help or pics would be super useful.
