I disconnected my battery last weekend prior to removing the steering wheel and instrument cluster. My service manual shows how to recode the radio. Unfortunately, I bought the car used and I didn't get the radio code with it. Anyone know how to do it?
Can the dealer do it or tell me how?
Thanks
George

Yep. Dealer. Hope you get a nice service dude. Some do it for free, some charge a hefty fee. Make sure to take your title and photo ID just in case they ask for it.

And consider one of these ($20?) to protect your cluster electrics next time you disconnect the battery - the spike when you do this has knocked out some clusters.
