I have a question. Under the sticky "tech tips" I found a list of some recalls and problems people found with thier SLK's. Are those recalls too? here's a list of a few I have with my car...

Body - Convertible Top Seals Noisy on Rough Roads _ P-77-30-30C _ 15-Feb-06

Audio System - Volume Knob Damaged _ P-82-60-292 _ 29-Sep-03

Air Bag System - SRS Lamp ON and or Multiple DTC's Set _ P-91-60-109 _ 27-Apr-06

Engine - Supercharger Clutch Rattling and or Squealing Noise _ P-09-50-17 _ 24-Jun-04

Keyless Entry and or Alarm System - Various Malfunctions _ P-80-00-25 _ 9-Mar-04

Lighting - Condensation In Fog Lamps _ P-82-10-256 _ 6-Jun-03
Lighting - Condensation in Headlamps _ P-82-10-419 _ 30-Dec-04
Lighting - Moisture In Turn Signals in The Mirrors _ P-88-70-48 _ 13-Jun-06

Wipers - Chattering and or Noisy After Blade Replacement _ P-82-30-366B _ 10-Jan-06

Are these things I can get replaced by recall? or am I just crap out of luck? Have you guys noticed these same things? Have you had the dealer work on it? Please give me examples and/or info what to do! Thanks!

Those are TSB's (Technical Service Bulletins), not recalls. So you're outta luck. The only recall is the taillights...

Time to trade it on that C65. ;-)

Just playing. You need to get some of the lube for the top. 49 bucks a bottle, but you'll only use a little. You'll have to do it once or twice a year. Haven't heard in 10 years of many audio knobs going bad, but you do want to make sure water doesn't enter the trunk to screw up the alarm, locking, etc. Keep the drains clean.

thanks, I'll look into it. I got the tail lights fixed when I first bought it. They seemed to work fine, but I didnt want to take any chances.

On another note, I wish I could trade in on a new C65, but...Well, maybe you and I could go in on it together and split the cost? Just kidding...

No...I insist...its all yours. ;-)

I have my beast already and she is more than I can handle, especially with her new tires. Besides mine likes to go topless.
