Rebuilding Power steering hose for 112 (also 111 113 108/109)

Has anyone ever replaced or rebuilt the high pressure power steering line that connects the steering box to the throttle positioner on their 60’s Benz. (this increases rpm above idle when the steering wheel is turned)
Since this line is rebuildable, I’ve been looking for the 5mm ID x 15mm OD hose to use with my original fittings. This is for my 300se coupe, but a similar line is used in the 108/109, and I’m sure 111 and 113. Classic Center said my 112 part number is NLA.

My W108 doesn't have that line, but I rebuilt the hose for my pump to box high pressure hose. The fittings look similar so I assume the procedure is the same. Here is the write up from when I did mine years ago. No issues and I drive here daily.
Thank you! These do have the “Parker style” reuseable end fittings, but the diameter of the rubber is smaller. I need approx. 3/16” ID x 5/8” OD. The closest to this I’ve been able to find online from hydraulic hose distributors is 1/4” ID, which may be tight enough to create a seal when compressed inside the end fitting, but I’d rather not find out the hard way that it isn’t. I could try showing up at a local distributor to see what they have, like you did.
