My sons classmate at university has changed from the original C220 wheels fitted to his car, to CLS 18" fitted with R18 225 40Z tyres.
He says that now there is a crunching noise coming from the rear of the car although nothing seems to be touching anywhere.
Any help or suggestions as to why this occurring would be greatly appreciated.

I had a similar problem when I put my winter tires with new rims… Just check the length of the bolts; they may be too long...

We just had a call back to say that was the problem.
