my auto dim rear view mirror has gone wrong there is oil floating round inside it, i need a new one, is it easy to install? wat is the best way to remove the fixing from the windscreen? do i have to mess with the head linning etc etc etc any advice?

No headliner removal is involved. The mirror is mounted to a metal block that is glues to the glass. Remove the plastic housing from behind the mirror (careful, as it breaks easily) and then all you have to do is GENTLY tap the top of the mirror mount on the top – it slides off toward the bottom.
