I'm getting a rattle from the rear suspension when going over the usual manholes, rough bits of road etc. The rattle's now appearing a bit more often. There's not much it can be: rear suspension arm bushes, duff shocks.. I'm wondering if the rubber cushions on the spring top mounting plates could be a possibility?

doubt it springs

Hi

Logic would suggest its not the springs as they are under constant pressure even over manholes. You have not chopped the springs to lower the van have you?
May be check the bolts holding the shocks on.
Failing that check the wheel bearing for play?
If you have a rear sway bar has it come loose?

I'm guessing now
