I have a 2002 E ? 320 wagon. And I am having a sls and alignment issue. The inside of the tires are wearing all the way down to the belts with and 10,000 miles the power steering fluid is leaking somewhere in the lines on the rear of this car and also the top hose running down to the steering arm is leaking very badly. For the life of me I cannot find the parts to replace the power steering line and I am seriously thinking about doing a conversion kit on the rear suspension but I obviously need some kind of camber adjustment to bring these tires back in the level on the rear in if anybody has some help I sure would appreciate it as Google does not help me out in anyway no matter how I search.

All the parts are available -- the hydraulic suspension and the power steering share a pump. It uses a special fluid -- not standard PS fluid.

The rear shocks are not true shocks -- they only require replacing if they are leaking. The accumulators are what provide the damping and often fail as the car ages -- they are about $80 each. The bladder inside fails -- there is no outward way of knowing when they have failed -- you can tell from the drive and drop in fluid. Easy to replace.

It sounds like you may have something else going on with the rear -- find out if the rear struts are leaking and work from there. With out proper fluid and pressure the rear suspension will not work ... you have to fix the leaks. I would buy good used before trying to retrofit -- the system is robust.
