Hello,

I took my shade down for the first time in several months and a day later it refuses to go up no matter what I do.

I'd like to check the fuse. From my understanding it is under rear seat. How is the fuse box accessed, how does the seat come up and which fuse am I looking for. Is one of those in the trunk a compatible spare for replacement?

Thank you.

You don't pull the seat up. You pop the bezel surrounding the courtesy light out - the fuses are there. The "manual" that discusses it is your Owner's Manual.

Hey I got to the relay, the reason sun shade didnt go up was due to the relay being half way out of its socket, causing it to be overheated. When I got to it, it was relatively hot compared to other relays next to it. Now im concerned if it should be replaced. I have 2 spare Hella fuses for the airmatic, would this me same one or something different that I need?

THank you.

HI Guys I just purchased a 2001 S500 and the rear shade won't go down, I've checked the fuses all good, but I did find the relay "in the Q location on the fuse box" is missing. Would anyone have the number for it?
Thanks
