Shock Absorbers - Removal & Installation

1. Jack up the rear of the car and support the control arm.
2. The upper mount of the rear shock absorber is accessible after removing the top, top flap, rear seat, back rest and the lining, then remove the cover plate.
3. Remove the locknut and hex nut from the upper mount on the shock absorber.
4. Remove the two hex bolts at the bottom of the shock absorber under the suspension arm and remove the shock absorber.
5. Installation is the reverse of removal. Tighten the upper mounting nut to the end of the thread. (Make sure the car has sufficient clearance to withdraw the shock absorber).
