Hello
I have to replace the rear Sam Module in my w203 200 Kompressor. I found a used rear Sam Module with a different part number (it comes from a W203 220 CDI).
Does anyone know if it will be compatible with my car?
Thanks in advance!

Post your VIN and the part number of the SAM you found and I'll look it up in EPC to see if it cross-references.

Hi, thanks for your reply.
The part number is 0025457801. Vin number should be WDB2030451A019510. I think the car was originally bought in Germany or Hungary, I don't know if that matters somehow...

Sorry for double posting, can't find the edit button.
The part number of the Sam I found is 2035450701, 0025457801 is the number of the Sam currently in my car.

0025457801 is not really a part number. It's common for OE's to stamp their own version of a part number on their items. It may look like the part number, but often isn't.

The good news is that 2035450701 is compatible with your car. It is an older part that has been superseded by a few newer versions, but it will work.

A2035454701 is the revised part number, A2035453401 is the original part number. Either will work.

Hi,
The VIN of my Mercedes is WDB2110061A253997, actually the SAM has the code 0025459901.
Which are the compatible SAM? And can I substitute it without any coding?

Thank you a lot.

You have a W211 E-Class - you should ask in that forum.

sorry for long delay,so the 2035453801 isnt even the original part number. I see this rear sam has what looks like wrecking yard writing on it.I am guessing it works on the Wdbrf52h56e021720 c230,but if I have to replace it should i go with the original part number or the updated part number.

Using the revised part is not necessary. Either will work. There's no telling what the revision changed. It could be to fix a "bug", improve reliability, or maybe it came from a different supplier.

Hello, I hope this web site is still active. I have a C200 W203 Kompressor and want to change the SAM Rear module.
The current original SAM reference is
002 545 78 01.
VIN is WDB2030451F006596
Which are the part numbers which I can use to change the SAM.

Any of these will do:

A0025459701
A2095450101
A2095450701
A2035453201
A2035453801
A2035453401
A2035454701

However, there is one potential problem. There was a change to the fuel sender wiring in 2001/2002. Your car will have the older style, so the SAM may need programming unless you get one from a MY2001 or early MY2002 car.
