Has anyone had this done to their C-Class? Any photos? How much and where from?

I ordered my 2005 c230 sedan with the lip. They put it on after I received the car so I got to see the car with and without the lip spoiler. I must say the spoiler adds a good look to it. I have not taken any pictures yet due to all the rain in SoCal.
So did you order it direct from Mercedes?

Does the factory lip spoiler stick on with adhesive tape or bolts? I've seen some on ebay and mymercedesdotcom that uses 3M sticky tape. I'm also interested in one.
Yes I ordered it from my dealer.
It uses double sided tape.

There are several options available from Mercedes. You can order anywhere from a very small little lip, to a quite big "fast and furious" type spoiler (bolt on).

The reason I Know this is because the dealer ordered/or was shipped the wrong spoiler for my car. So when I came down to the dealership for the install they asked me if I knew they where going to have to drill hole in my trunk. After asking to see what spoiler they were going to install, it was apparent they had wrong spoiler. (The big "fast & furious type)
here's mine....

Which is the one used on the C55?
Mine is different. Mine actually wraps around the trunk brake light. I will try and get a picture posted by the end of the week.
I too am looking at aftermarket/OEM spoilers I asked my dealer about the c55 lip they told me it required drilling 2 holes and they have installed them in the past, cost(593 but came painted) on formybenz they have 3m double stick tape lips (painted for about 300) that appear to be similar to the c55.

Anybody have pics or expierience with either, if it is 200 cheaper for the same look, and it is not going to fall off I see no reason to drill...

This looks like the one I had installed from Mercedes. As I mentioned earlier you can see where there is a cut out for the rear brake light. It is installed with double sided tape.

Thank you I am going to get the same, looks great on your C <hopefully mine>

I will post any problems.
where did you get the carbon fiber lip? how much was it?
I had it custom made for $479.00 but I'm sure you could find a company that makes them, I just wanted it now and could not find a company.
