Quicky question, I heard from a Mercedes technician that the rear fog lights are actually a rear fog "LIGHT" as its only 1 light to not get confused with the original car lights?

Do you guys have this same thing on your SLs? or can anyone explain this to me further?

Cheers,

Yeah, in US, it's on the left side (driver side), when you pull the knob all the way out, the left side would be brighter than the right as the knob lit up at the same time.

It's for those foggy days. It's suprisingly that lots of MB owners didn't know/notice this. It took me 2 years until one day I READ the manual [:)]

I think not only does it have on SL, it goes on all MB models.

It is for safety when you pull your car over to the right shoulder. I have it on my 2002 SLK 320 as well.
