So ive been trying to figure out why the rear door handle cable doesn't retract when opened it just stays in open position its as if something is holding it in place but then it can be pushed back, it just really annoys me need to fix this because it looks tacky. Cheers!

The latch at the door needs lubrication.

yep cheers, opened the door up and lubed everything up, there was also a small kink in the line which was contributing to it, thanks all fixed!
