Lately I have been getting creaking from the rear of the car whenever I go over bumps. I am pretty sure it it shocks or something along the way of that. Any ideas....cost?

rear shocks def, not that expensive labor may be 2.5hrs though
Not necessarily the shocks. It could just be something as simple as the tailgate bump stops needing to be adjusted outwards.
It's not the tailgate, I already fixed that...It is probably the shocks because it evens happens going over speedbumps at 5 mph.
Grab your roof rack on top of the truck, and shift the vehicle weight from side to side. You should hear it very loud then. My drivers side shoch went out at 51k. I really wondered if my computer was sending codes to the ML to make parts die after warranty[:0]
Whenever the weight shifted, I could hear the HORRIBLE NOISE. Boy was it loud[:(]
Yeah thats it. Also if I sit in my cargo area with the tailgate open and bounce up and down...not a sexy noise coming from a $50k machine.

There is no other cure than to replace rear struts assembley.

Do a search on rear shock replacement
I just had the rear ball joints replaced. Have them looked at. Also fold the back seat down behind the drivers seat. This could be the rattle or Creaking????
