The rear camera in my 2010 GLK had colored lines to delineate the width and depth of what I was viewing on the screen. It was great. I now have an E550 and the camera view has no lines. It's hard to tell how close I'm getting to objects. Anyone know if I'm missing something in settings, or is just the way the E-Class camera works? Thanks, Mike

Unfortunately this feature is not available on our E Class ('11-'13).
It was re-introduced in the 2014 model, I believe.

You are correct, my 2014 E350 has lines showing depth while backing up.

I had someone go behind the car and point. For me there is a black line going across the bottom of the screen which I now know is my bumper.

I also don't have the lines but I can see the bumper and on a cool day the exhausts so no worries for me.
