Searched thru the forum area and really didn't see anything that covered this so here goes;

Noticed the bumper cover sticking out a little near each wheel well?
I can push it in and it stays; however, once we drive a little, the vibration from the road moves the pieces back out? The tabs holding the bumper cover on are there, just seem to have a little play in them, not as tight as it should be, anyone have any idea?

Replace the tabs?
Replace the wheel well compartment?
New bumper cover?

If the clip has not broken then it looks like a clip has moved inside or a plastic lug has worn away and the "ridge" is no longer engaging correctly. Either that or the "socket" part is broken.

To correctly diagnose, I expect you will need to take off the wheel, take off the wheel guard and then examine the clip from the inside.

From my research, they "SHOULD" clip in and stay in but they are fragile

Have you ever taken the rear bumper off?

Marcus, I believe the clips are broken; I removed the wheels and the plastic in the wheel well and see the clips on both sides are broken. I just purchase the vehicle; I saw where it was in an accident, but the damage was less than $1,000, so I'm guessing they did not replace the cover, which is why the tabs on the sides are broken. I took pic's; I'll post later to show how I fix this.

Thanks,
Dennis
