I need to replace my rear brakes and pads. The van is a 2001 110CDi.

I'm looking at getting these:
MERCEDES VITO BRAKE DISCS PADS MINTEX REAR on eBay, also, Mercedes-Benz, Car Parts, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 04-May-09 03:01:26 BST)

There are two types of calipers listed - ATE and Bosch type. Can anyone tell me how I can spot the difference so I can order the right pads?! Thanks!

Them's probably unlikely to fit a 2001. Probably OK for 1996-1998.
To the best of my knowledge a 2001 will have Bosch front calipers. The rears would be presumably Bosch ...though look a bit Bendix.
The proper pads look like they're from a smaller Peugeot/Citroen/Renault front caliper. They look a bit uneven or "French".
In the box you'd find two essentially Peugeot/Citroen/Renault front pads as above and 2 pads which have the same back plate but different shaped material to the other 2 pads.

For reference:

ATE type are square

Bosch type have 'ears' - if you can see through the spokes, they are held in by a 'v' on top which secures the 'ears'.

Mine are Bosch. It's written on the caliper, at the back, far side of the disc (and covered in rust and goo).
